TAMPA, Fla. (April 25, 2017) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has opened its new high-end Art Deco inspired, Mezzanine Level Casino.

The venue is over 26,000 square feet and offers 500 of the newest slot machines featuring the latest technology, 15 live-action table games including Blackjack, Double Deck Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Casino War, Ultimate Texas Hold ‘em and Crazy 4 Poker.

“We’re enthusiastic about opening this new casino space, which is just one of the expansion projects scheduled for this property,” said Joe Lupo, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s President. “We certainly want the Tampa Bay community to come out and experience this first-class facility that our incredible team has been working diligently on for several months.”

Wimberly Interiors, considered one of the world’s leading design consultants in the hospitality industry, created the Mezzanine Level Casino utilizing an Art Deco inspiration.

The new space contains approximately 14,000-square-feet of Italian marble which is meant to highlight the natural beauty of the Italian stone throughout the Mezzanine Level Casino, while providing a luxurious atmosphere for guests.

The lighting in the new venue is meant to exude elegance and class with the various chandeliers that are reminiscent of an Art Deco flapper dress, a style known for high energy and spirits.

The opening of the Mezzanine Level Casino precedes a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 28, for the property’s new Orient Road Garage. To coincide with a car giveaway at the end of the month, a 2018 Audi® A5 will “drive through” the ribbon.

The new 700-space parking garage will allow for easy access from Hillsborough Avenue and Orient Road.

The Orient Road Garage will have a walkway into the Mezzanine Level Casino where guests can take a self-guided memorabilia “rock walk” tour, which will showcase over 100 of Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s prized memorabilia pieces, including new items from artists such Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood, Stevie Nicks, Bon Jovi, Nicki Minaj and many more.
