NFL Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks Partners With Seminole Hard Rock Tampa for Philanthropy Weekend

WHAT:
NFL Hall of Famer and longtime philanthropist Derrick Brooks will host a slot tournament and blackjack event at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa to benefit Derrick Brooks Charities, Inc., which focuses on improving the lives of underserved youth in Tampa Bay.

The slot tournament and blackjack event will be part of the 15th annual Derrick Brooks Celebrity Classic Weekend which includes a golf tournament at Avila Country Club on April 27.

Tickets for both the slot tournament and blackjack event may be purchased at the Rock Shop. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and a Seminole Player’s Club cardholder.

In addition to a portion of the slot tournament proceeds going to Derrick Brooks Charities, Inc., the casino will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds generated from sales of limited edition Derrick Brooks Charities sunglasses in the Rock Shop as well as proceeds from sales of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Girls Calendar.

Benefit Concert/ Check & Guitar Presentation: 8 p.m.
