WHAT: Hard Rock Cafe at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will be hosting an open to the public Make-A-Wish of Central & Northern Florida Benefit Event to feature a charity slot tournament, red carpet ceremony, benefit concert and check presentation of funds raised for the month.

The slot tournament has an entry fee of $10 and 50 percent of those proceeds will be donated to the charity and 50 percent to the prize pool. Tickets can be purchased at the Rock Shop or upon entry of the event.

Throughout the month, the property has been selling customized limited edition earbuds in its retail shops for $10 with 100 percent of the proceeds generated going to the charity.

Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Make-A-Wish’s mission reflects the life-changing impact it has on children, families and communities. In doing so the foundation organizes an annual walk located in downtown Tampa called Walk for Wishes Tampa Bay. This year’s walk will begin at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, walking along Riverwalk Park on the Hillsborough River on April 30. This year the Walk for Wishes is a part of the Riverfest.

Concert featuring Extra Celestial: 7 p.m.
Check Presentation: 8 p.m.
