TAMPA, Fla. (June 2, 2016) – The 2016 Tampa Bay June Acoustic Music Showcase (JAMS) will begin a month-long run at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa starting on Thursday, June 2.

Presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa and iHeart Radio’s 98ROCK, the showcase will spotlight the best acoustic talent in Tampa Bay each weekend throughout June (Thursdays through Sundays). Four artists will perform each night and Sundays will be an open mic night.

3 Doors Down will headline the showcase’s closing concert in Hard Rock Cafe Tampa on Wednesday, June 29, at 8:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at the Rock Shop located inside of Hard Rock Cafe beginning Friday, June 3 and will also be available via ticketmaster.com.

From Escatawpa, Miss., 3 Doors Down rose to international fame in the 90’s with their first single, “Kryptonite,” and have continued to deliver chart topping titles throughout their career. . The band is touring in support of their sixth studio album Us And The Night, which was released on March 11.

Those selected to perform at JAMS will receive a photo shoot at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, a Dean guitar, a case of Hard Rock Energy and a swag bag.

Additionally, Dean Guitars and Hard Rock Energy will be event sponsors providing swag items and 20 guitars to their choice of selected ambassadors, who will be chosen during an awards ceremony at 8 p.m. on June 29, just prior to the 3 Doors Down show.

Local radio personality from 98ROCK “Deuce” will be broadcasting live during the showcase and providing the JAMS participants industry tips and tricks.
