TAMPA, Fla. (September 9, 2015) – Francesca Giorgianni, a 16-year-old Hillsborough High School student, captured top honors in the #TBTSearch Contest at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa Tuesday night.

A viewer’s choice contestant, Giorgianni wowed the crowd and judges with her rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” She received a $2,500 cash prize for her efforts.

WiLD 94.1 staged the #TBTSearch contest, which was a local effort to find the next talented artist that displayed a combination of both singer and songwriter qualities.

Giorgianni was among 10 finalists who performed live for a panel of judges, comprised of record label executives and a representative from Dean Guitars.
